Our Goals: Professional Development & Social Interaction
for graduates of the
Centre for Training in Psychotherapy
We are glad you're here!
It is a challenging time to practice psychotherapy.
Every day, our work brings new unanswered questions and uncertainties. Psychodynamic psychotherapy offers us a strong framework for exploration, but community and connection are essential to keep us grounded.
If you’ve been looking for a way to connect, and be part of a vibrant professional community, the CTP Alumni Association (CTPAA) is ready to welcome you.
A reading group focused on Fred Busch's "Creating a Psychoanalytic Mind: A Psychoanalytic Method and Theory".
Deirdre O'Sullivan (former CTP Graduate Fellow) has agreed to moderate the reading group sessions. There will be 12 total; one in-person launch event, ten virtual, and one in-person final gathering.
A talk by Sarah Usher, author of “Introduction to Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Technique,” on her latest book “Separation–Individuation Struggles in Adult Life: Leaving Home”.
This intimate, catered event will include an overview of theoretical material and related case studies/vignettes, followed by Q&A.
A panel discussion featuring three CTP alumni – Carmela Circelli, John Gross, and Mung-Ling Tsui.
Each will present papers titled, "The Case That Made Me a Better Therapist,” followed by Q&A and discussion.
